Hi! My name is Nyla and I am a Russian/Egyptian 18 year old from Toronto, Canada!

I have always loved fashion and admired models, so when Alkan and Paul scouted me at Indigo (my former job), I was thrilled at the amazing opportunity. My mother modelled at my age too, so we were both ecstatic when I was invited to be signed to the agency. 

Recently I have moved to New Orleans in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in film and neuroscience on the pre-med track at Tulane University. I am in love with the city, its culture, and the live jazz music that can be heard from just about anywhere. While I am excited to frequent Toronto and see everyone back home, college so far has really been a dream. I guess you could say I have always been the creative type, as I grew up playing music, writing, and watching movies, so it only made sense for me to want to pursue a degree in film and truly embrace that side of me.

Back home I volunteered at a parrot sanctuary which I adored. I have always had a soft spot for animals, specifically birds, and this was a really amazing experience to be able to bring this passion to life. I am very excited to visit all my feathered babies whenever I am back in Toronto, including my own conure whom I have taken care of over the last ten years. I also play video games, did competitive dance and gymnastics, worked at a bookstore, and love spending time with my friends and family. 

I am very grateful to be a part of ME. and look forward to everything that comes along with that. I am no stranger to travel and embarking on new experiences - the thought of it excites me and I eagerly await what lies ahead in my modelling journey.
