JACK

Hi! My name is Jack, and I’m currently finishing my Master of Architectural Studies.

I was born in Toronto and spent my childhood between Newfoundland, Ottawa, and a small island near Vancouver. My family is predominantly Irish and Scottish, with deep roots in Newfoundland.

Most of my time is currently spent buried in thesis writing, but when I’m away from my desk, I enjoy cooking, cycling, and filling sketchbooks with drawings and memorabilia.

Over the years, I’ve had a variety of jobs that have shaped my interests. I worked as a fishmonger in Ottawa, spent time as part-time support staff in restaurants, and most recently worked as an architectural intern working with rendering software and CAD modeling.

During the summers and any time I have off, I try to travel as much as possible. At the moment, I’m attempting to check off as much of Europe as I can.
