MICHAELLA

Hi!   I’m Michaella Shannon. I am a Cree, Lakota woman from Frog Lake First Nation. 

I am a TV host and personality, model, actress, writer and facilitator. I have been a host for APTN television series The Other Side, seasons 3-5. In addition to this, I am developing my skills as a writer and blogger. Currently, I am writing a number of television series while also writing for a variety of online platforms.

During National Addictions Awareness Week, and at other events, I facilitate several workshops on alcohol and drug abuse and their close relationship to suicide. Due to the loss of immediate family members, addictions and bereavement topics are two workshops that I can facilitate with an open heart as I have witnessed the effects of both.  

I am a jingle dress dancer, yoga enthusiast and I have plans to one day host my own talk show!
