Hey, I’m Matt.

I spent the last decade or so based in Tunis, working as a researcher and political consultant on development, democracy and human rights across the Middle East and North Africa. 

I recently moved back to Canada to finish my PhD at the University of Toronto while pursuing a light side hustle as a vigilante. Modelling provides a surprisingly convincing Clark Kent-style cover story.

When I’m not nerding out over history and current affairs, I’m usually cooking, hosting overly ambitious dinner parties, playing sports or music, or finding increasingly creative ways to indulge my lifelong Peter Pan syndrome.
